I am a texile designer/artist based in New York, with a superb eye for detail and design. I am interested in many different areas of the textile industry and have a strong ability to collaborate with others. I am responsible and reliable, disciplined and dedicated. I have been a competitive ice skater for 20 years and I am also a self-employed ice-skating coach for the past 6 years.

Skills

Proficient in MAC or PC with Photoshop, Illustrator, Pointcarre, Texcelle (NedGraphics), Product Creator, Kaleido, and other CAD software. Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Extensive experience in oil, acrylic, ink, gouache, dyes and watercolor painting as well as print making, screen printing and drawing.

Strong sense of color including knowledge of prints, stripes, toile de jouy, plaids and repeats.Ability to research trends within the industry using trend forecasting services. Ability to create spec sheets for mills.
